Product & Compliance
WCA QuickShip is freight software for carriers, brokers and shippers. Customers operate their own freight and make their own carrier and booking decisions.
1. Software role
WCA provides QuickShip freight software to carriers, brokers and shipping companies. Customers operate their own freight workflows, post and manage their own loads, and choose their own counterparties. The software applies documented FMCSA and equipment eligibility rules to booking access; it does not choose among eligible carriers.
2. Customer decisions
Customers are responsible for choosing counterparties, deciding whether to post or accept a load, agreeing on rates and terms, and meeting the laws and obligations that apply to their business. The subscription software records customer-entered activity and displays sourced public data; customer users make those decisions.
3. Public carrier data
The software can retrieve public FMCSA authority, insurance and safety information and display its source and retrieval time. Public data may be delayed, incomplete or changed. Documented eligibility checks may restrict booking access; the data is not a recommendation or a choice among eligible carriers. Customers make their own assessments and selection decisions.
4. Pricing and funds
As the QuickShip software vendor, WCA earns subscription revenue. The vendor charges no per-load fee, per-transaction fee, freight margin, spread or percentage. Freight payment arrangements are separate from the subscription and are managed by the customer and its counterparties.
5. Estimates and records
Rate estimates are ranges with a confidence indication, not offers, quotes or guarantees. Audit records document information and actions recorded in the software; they do not establish that a carrier is suitable or that a transaction complies with law.
6. Legal review
This page describes product functionality and is not legal advice or a legal opinion about WCA's or a customer's regulatory status. Each customer should obtain advice for its own operations. The product's broker-ordering capability remains disabled unless its documented legal and technical preconditions have been satisfied.
