Cookie Policy
This page describes the browser storage currently used by the WCA marketing site and QuickShip platform.
1. Cookies and browser storage
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies include session storage and local storage. Their purpose and retention depend on the feature that uses them.
2. This marketing website
The site you are reading now (www.wcaquickship.com) is a static informational site. WCA sets no analytics or advertising cookies of its own and embeds no marketing or advertising scripts. Two scripts are nonetheless served with every page, added by the providers that host and protect the site rather than by WCA. We would rather name them than let this page claim a cleanliness the delivered page does not have.
| Script | Added by | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
tccl.min.js from img1.wsimg.com |
GoDaddy, our web host | Traffic and performance measurement for the hosting account. It is injected by the hosting platform, is not part of our published source, and we do not receive or use its output for advertising. GoDaddy describes it as performance monitoring and directs opt-out requests to web hosting support. |
Challenge script from /cdn-cgi/ |
Cloudflare, our network provider | Bot and abuse protection in front of the site. It is a security control rather than analytics, and it is not used to build a profile of you. |
Neither is used by WCA for advertising, profiling or resale, and neither reaches the QuickShip platform described in section 3. If you want these absent entirely, contact us: we treat the published page and this notice as having to match, and we would correct the page rather than the description.
3. The QuickShip platform
The platform currently uses browser storage for sign-in and convenience features. It does not set an authentication cookie.
| Storage | Purpose | Where and retention |
|---|---|---|
| Sign-in credential | A bearer token authenticates requests for the account you signed into. | Session storage for the active browser tab; removed on sign-out or when that tab session ends. The server also enforces token expiry. |
| Recent workspace pages | Lets you return to recently opened pages and load records. | Session storage for the active browser tab. Legacy saved entries are moved into session storage when the workspace next opens. |
| Appearance and dashboard layout | Remembers your selected theme and overview-card layout. | Local storage until you clear site data. These values do not contain freight documents or authentication credentials. |
The platform does not currently use analytics or advertising trackers. If you follow a link to a third-party payment page, that provider's storage is governed by its own policy; the marketing site does not embed payment scripts.
4. Managing browser storage
You can clear this site's browser storage in your browser settings. Clearing session storage signs you out and removes recent-page history; clearing local storage resets appearance and dashboard layout preferences. The marketing site does not currently set non-essential cookies, so it has no optional cookie categories to configure.
5. Changes
If we introduce new cookies or technologies, we will update this page and obtain consent where the law requires it.
